About
I have been fired twice. The first time I was forty. To get back into work I took a forty percent pay cut and started over as a nurse manager. The second time was February of 2026.
In the last ten years, I turned around three hospitals in a row. Years ago, I bought a screen printing company that had gone under and grew it into one of the largest in the region. I have also had a business fail and leave us more than a hundred thousand dollars in debt.
The lesson under all of it came from a year of weekends with Catholic nuns... meet people where they are, not where you are. It is the name of what I do now.
A personal comeback rallies one person around a single idea. A leadership breakthrough rallies a team around it. A hospital turnaround rallies a whole organization around it. The idea stays the same... only the number of people changes.
